Occupational Safety and Health (OSH)
At Ancom Nylex, we prioritize the health and safety of our employees, contractors, visitors, and partners. We operate in strict compliance with applicable regulatory standards, including the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) 1994 (Amendment 2022) and the Environmental Quality Act (EQA) 1974.
Guided by top-down oversight from our Board and Senior Management, Safety and Health Committees (SHCs) comprising management and employee representatives drive safety initiatives across our operating companies. Through regular internal assessments, continuous engagement, and risk monitoring, we ensure safety remains
central to everything we do.
Introducing Our OSH Committee
We are pleased to introduce the AMS OSH Committee, led by En Iqmal, our certified Health and Safety Coordinator. En Iqmal, certified by NIOSH, will drive our safety initiatives. Phillip Karupiah, our Chief Integrity Officer, provides essential oversight, reinforcing our commitment to a safe and healthy workplace aligned with ESG principles.
Safety First: CPR Awareness Training A Success
On 30th June 2025, our Safety and Health Committee successfully hosted a CPR Awareness Training session. CPR, which stands for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, is a critical life-saving procedure performed when the heart stops beating or breathing has ceased.
The session was led by the expert team from Ancom’s new subsidiary, H2H Medicare Group, with 30 colleagues in attendance. Participants gained hands-on experience in vital life-saving techniques, focusing on the knowledge and confidence required to respond effectively during a cardiac emergency.
By equipping our team with these essential skills, we continue to strengthen our commitment to a safe and prepared work environment. A big thank you to the H2H Medicare team for their guidance and to the 30 staff members who prioritized safety by participating in this valuable session.
Prioritizing Women’s Health: ANB Hosts Breast Cancer Screening
In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, ANB held a specialized screening initiative on 30th October and 19th November 2025. Organised in collaboration with Ancom Truelife and Duopharma, the event provided our female staff with access to advanced, non-invasive health checks.
A total of 36 ladies participated in the program, which began with an informative briefing in the Conference Room, followed by private 1-on-1 sessions. Using a specialized portable iBreast screening device, a certified female professional conducted the screenings in a confidential and comfortable setting.
We are proud to support our employees’ health journeys and thank everyone who participated in this vital initiative.
