The Weight Loss Challenge was launched as part of our ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) efforts to promote healthier lifestyles among employees, aligning personal wellness with our broader sustainability goals. Running from 22 July to 30 August, this initiative saw 54 participants collectively lose 41.9% body fat and an impressive 127.8 kg in weight. The challenge not only aimed to improve health but also fostered a sense of responsibility toward building a sustainable future.
On October 12, 2024, Ancom Nylex Berhad and its subsidiaries united for their first-ever environmental initiative, a beach clean-up at Pantai Kelanang, removing 260 kg of waste in just one hour. This event, part of their broader ESG efforts, showcased their commitment to environmental stewardship and the power of collective action in addressing coastal pollution. With 47 dedicated volunteers, the clean-up not only improved the beach’s condition but also highlighted the group’s dedication to driving real change for a sustainable future through meaningful, eco-conscious efforts.

The ESG Committee is delighted to share the success of our recent charity drive for Persatuan Kebajikan Kanak-Kanak Istimewa Insan (PKKII), made possible through the incredible generosity of Ancom Nylex Berhad (“ANB”) and its subsidiaries. On December 20, 2024, the ESG team visited Pertubuhan Rumah Kebajikan Kanak-Kanak Home of Peace to spread the joy of Christmas and make a meaningful difference in the lives of its young residents.
Home of Peace is a safe haven for 10 children, aged from 11 months to 18 years, cared for by four dedicated caretakers. The children, many of whom come from underprivileged backgrounds, broken homes, or have been abandoned, inspire hope and resilience in the face of adversity.
In the spirit of Christmas, we fulfilled the children’s carefully crafted wishlists. From toys and books to clothing and other necessities, the gifts brought smiles to their faces, reminding us of the importance of giving back. At the heart of our ESG efforts is the belief that compassion and care can transform lives. As we celebrate this festive season, let us continue to share the spirit of giving, kindness, and hope-values that resonate far beyond the holiday season.
